PREPERATION OF THE PESTICIDE FOR APPLICATION

The device’s tank is filled with water in half. Required amount of the pesticide is mixed water in a separate container and added to the tank. Water is added until the tank is full while the mixing apparatus keeps working.

MISCIPLITY

It can be mixed and applied with other pesticides except those containing alkali. Before mixing them, a pre-mixture test is advised.

USAGE AND TIME

It is a systemic fungicide with protective and therapeutic characteristics. It easily diffuses into plant therefore it is resistant to being washed away by rains.

Against Cherry, Sour Cherry, Apricot and Peach monilia:
The 1st spraying is performed in the beginning of blooming (at % 5-10 flowering),

The 2nd spraying is performed at the time of full flowering (% 90-100 flowering).

Against monilia in Quince: The 1st spraying should be performed when the plant blooms % 5, the 2nd spraying should be performed when the plant blooms % 50 and the 3rd spraying should be performed at the time of full blooming.

Against mildew in apple: The 1st spraying is performed during the time pink flower bud, the 2nd spraying is performed when flowers’ petals fall % 60-70 and the 3rd spraying is applied as long as the conditions are suitable for the development of the disease with 10 day intervals.

Against dark spot in loquat: The 1st spraying is performed before flower buds blister, the 2nd spraying is performed before the flower buds open, the 3rd spraying is performed after the flower sheds its petals and the 4th spraying is performed with 10 day intervals, in such a way that there will be a 20 day time between the last spraying and harvest.

Against mildew in cucurbit: The spraying is started when the symptoms of the disease are seen. Considering the severity of the disease and climate conditions, the spraying is continued generally with 10 day intervals if required. The spraying should be stopped when average daily temperature is above 27 ° C and average humidity is below % 50.

Against vine mildew: The 1st spraying is performed when offshoots are 25-30 cm long, the 2nd spraying is performed when unripe grapes reach the size of a pellet, the 3rd and other sprayings are performed depending on the development of the disease.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT

The plant protection product named Metafor is a fungicide, classified as Group G1-B1 in terms of its active substance. Repeated application of same group plant protection products that has the same effect mechanism encourages resistance development. For this reason, in order to delay resistance development, do not exceed total suggested number of usage of Metafor within the same season. In case repetition of the application is needed, make sure you use those plant protection products with different effect mechanism (other than Group G1-B1).
