PREPERATION OF THE PESTICIDE FOR APPLICATION

Needed amount of the pesticide is mixed into slurry with a small amount of water in a container first: Spraying device is filled with water in half and pesticide mix is added. Keeping up stirring, water is added and the tank is filled to make it ready to apply.

MISCIPLITY

It can blend with many pesticides except oil and those pesticides that contain oil. However, the farmer is advised to try a pre-mix that is under his responsibility and with his opportunities.

USAGE AND TIME

Vine mildew:

The 1st spraying is performed when offshoots are 25-30 cm long,

The 2nd spraying is performed unripe grapes reach the size of a pellet,

The 3rd spraying is performed depending on the development of the disease and meteorological and ecologic conditions of the region. Spraying is stopped when freshwater runs through grains.

Apple mildew:

The 1st spraying is performed during the time pink flower bud,

The 2nd spraying is performed when flowers’ petals fall % 60-70,

The 3rd and other sprayings are applied every 10 days until May.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT

The plant protection product named Mentavit Sülfo is a fungicide, classified as Group M-2 in terms of its active substance. Repeated application of same group plant protection products that has the same effect mechanism encourages resistance development. For this reason, in order to delay resistance development, do not exceed total suggested number of usage of MentaviSülfa within the same season. In case repetition of the application is needed, make sure you use those plant protection products with different effect mechanism (other than Group M-2 ).
