MODE OF PREPARATION FOR DRUG APPLICATION:
Pour the product in the needed quantity in a separate bowl. Fill half of the tank of the equipment with the mixture obtained and fill with water till the tank is full. During application, pay attention to wet thoroughly the upper and under surfaces of the leaves with the preparation. Application must be made in the morning or in the evening when the weather is not too hot.
MISCIBILITY:
This product can be used by mixing it up with product. If you need to make a mix, it is recommended to make previously one pre-mixture test.
MODE OF USE AND TIMING:
The disinfestation for fruit must be made with pressurized motored pulveriser in order to wet thoroughly the tree. However, it must be pay attention not to pull away the product while wetting the leaves.
Apple Scab disease: 1st application at the stage when buds swell up (when flower buds swell up)
2nd application at the stage when buds get pink (when flowers can be seen separately)
3rd application when the petals of the flower corolla fell by 70-80 per cent, 4th and following applications to be made at intervals of 10-14 days according to the weather conditions and level of disease.
Pear Scab disease: 1st application at the stage when flower buds are about to swell up.
2nd application at the stage when rosettes get white.
3rd application when the petals of the flower corolla fell by 70-80 per cent, 4th and following applications : after the 3rd application if the weather is rainy, once a week ; if not one time at intervals of 2-13 days. Number of application will vary according to the weather conditions and level of disease.
Leaf spot disease in Beet Sugar: Begin the application of the product when the disease appears in 5 per cent of the leaves and repeat the treatment at an interval of 15-20 days till 3-4 weeks before harvest.
Powdery mildews in Beet Sugar:
Begin the application of the product when the first symptoms of the disease appear. Repeat the treatment at an interval of 15-20 days till 3-4 weeks before harvest.
PESTICIDE RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT:
MENTAGARD Crop Protection Plant is an fungicide classed Group 3 A according to its mechanism of action. Repeated applications of the same group of crop protection fungicides lead to resistance development. For this reason, do not exceed the number of recommended applications of MENTAGARD during the same season in order to avoid resistance development. In case applications need to be repeated, pay attention to use crop protection products with a different mechanism of action (apart from those of Group 3 A).
