CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PRODUCT AND EFFECTS ON THE PLANT

LOTUS, is a plant nutrient substance from the group of potassium thiosulfate, owning a rich content in potassium and sulphur. Thanks to the potassium it contains, it ensures the formation and transfer of carbohydrates and then enables the development of fruit and plant by transforming the amino acids into proteins. The deficiency in potassium is in particular a reason for less formation of leaves. One of the most important functions of potassium is to regulate water mobility in plants. It ensures that the plant absorbs more water and spends less water. For this reason, a deficiency in potassium reduces the resistance of the plants against the drought and increases the risk of the plants to get damaged in low temperatures. Deficiency in potassium also affects the quality of the fruit in many aspects. As it contains sulphur, this product increases the formation of chlorophyll, strengthening the resistance of the plant. Due to its composition, it eases the absorption of plant nutrient elements by the plant in soils where plant nutrient elements are not easily degraded by helping the process.
