PREPARATION OF THE PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCT TO BE APPLIED

The fungicide calculated based on the recommended dose is first mixed with some water in a separate container. The tank of the spraying machine is half filled with water. While the mixer of the machine is running, water mixed with fungicide is added to the tank. While mixing, the tank is filled with water. The mixing process continues until the spraying is completed. Use the prepared mixture on the same day.

CALIBRATION

The spraying machine must be calibrated before spraying. The amount of water with fungicide should be adjusted to ensure a good coating during spraying. Spraying should be done in cool hours of the day, in windless or slightly windy weather conditions.

CLEANING OF THE APPLICATION MACHINE

Immediately after completing the spraying, empty the tank of the spraying machine safely. After filling the tank with clean water, turn on the mixer and spray system and ensure that all parts are washed. Do not wash near water sources. Do not discharge washing water and waste into water sources.

MISCIBILITY

It is recommended to perform a pre-mix test before mixing with other plant protection products.

USAGE OF PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCT

Powdery Mildew of Wheat (Erysiphe graminis): The course of the disease should be monitored, taking into account the climatic conditions, and in cases where the disease progresses to the upper part of the plant, green parts application should be started in order to prevent the upper leaves, especially the flag leaf, from being infected with the disease.

Brown Rust (Puccinia recondita tritici): In places where the disease is severe every year, the first spraying should be done when the first rust pustules begin to appear. Depending on the severity of the disease, the second spraying should be done 10-14 days after the first spraying.

Septoria Leaf Spot (Septoria tritici): If the climatic conditions are suitable for the development of the disease and there is a possibility of an epidemic situation, green parts are applied. In general, the best time for spraying is at the end of the sheath period when the flag leaf is fully opened or before ear emergence. For an infection that climbs towards the upper parts of the plant in the early period, the flag leaf should not be waited to appear. Likewise, if the field is contaminated and rainy weather continues during the earing period, spraying may be necessary as it may cause economic damage.

Root-Crown Rot Disease (Fusarium culmorum, Fusarium Pseudograminearum): Application should be made when the disease is first seen. Application should be made in the period between tillering and flag leaf.

Rice Blast (Pyricularia oryzae): Green parts spraying should be started as soon as disease symptoms appear in the area or if weather conditions are suitable for disease development. If necessary, a second application should be made after 15-20 days, depending on the action time of the plant protection product and weather conditions.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT

The plant protection product called MENTA MASTER PRO is a fungicide classified as Group G1:3 according to its mechanism of action. Repeated applications of plant protection products with the same mechanism of action encourage the development of resistance. Therefore, in order to delay the development of resistance, do not exceed the total number of recommended applications of MENTA MASTER PRO in the same season. In cases where the application must be repeated, be careful to use plant protection products with different mechanisms of action (except group G1:3).
